Turismo de Tenerife
Tenerife Tourism Corporation is the public company in charge of the international promotion of Tenerife abroad, as well being responsible for constant improvement of the island as a tourism destination. It coordinates the 37 tourist information offices on the island, and lead the public and private investments through their 450 associated companies that represent the vast majority of the tourism sector in Tenerife (hotels, thematic parks, ground agencies, golf courses, rural houses, restaurants, etc.).
Turismo de Tenerife has different departments that promote the different products of the island, such as the Tenerife Convention Bureau, Tenerife Golf, Tenerife Natural and Tenerife Select. Turismo the Tenerife is also constantly working on the local infrastructure of the island, in coordination with other public institutions. Their goal is improving the experiences of the visitors through clear information about the wide range of activities that they can do during their stay on the island, as well as creating sustainable ways to live those experiences (pedestrian ways, bike tracks, walking routes…).
Turismo de Tenerife has a representation office in Germany, Spain B2B in charge of marketing activities with the German travel industry, effective sales and training of travel agents and touroperators teams.
Tenerife Tourism Corporation works closely with international tourism associations, inviting them to host their conferences in Tenerife. Associations such as ABTA, DRV, TRITON, Travel Counsellors, ITT, Advantage and many other industry leaders have chosen Tenerife as their destination for their biggest conferences.
