The HolidayCheck Award

More than 420.000 evaluations given off by previous vacationers in the last year form the basis for the selection of the winners of the HolidayCheck Award 2011. With the help of a formula which puts into relationship the amount of evaluations, the recommendation rate as well as the assigned suns in the individual categories, the 99 most popular hotels worldwide were determined.

In this year 7 hotels from Spain have received the HolidayCheck Award 2010. The HolidayCheck Award is being awarded in 10 different categories. The categories are: “Most popular hotel in the country”, “Most popular with guests under 30”, “Most popular with guests over 50”, “Most popular with couples”, “Most popular with families”, “Beach Holidays”, “City Trips”, “Wellness”, “Winter Paradise” as well as the category “Editor’s Choice” for extraordinary achievements.
